Welcome to your utopian future...
A world where your kids get ready for school without arguments and with the help of a personal robot... who will also do all the ironing and cooking. A world where household chores are a thing of the past and leisure time is endless. You just won't know what to do with all your free time...
I have been working on some new prints for an exhibition coming up towards the end of the year entitled Future Worlds. My inspiration has come from old magazines, books, and comics from the 40's 50's and 60's. The Eagle, Dan Dare, Astonishing Stories, Sci-Fi Pulp Fiction Covers, The Jetsons, Amazing Stories, Popular Mechanics. All imagery from a time when "The Future" was going to deliver the great answer to man's troubles. Everything was going to be OK.
