10 Great Printmakers to follow on Twitter [& examples of their work]

Twitter is home to some wonderfully talented Printmakers. Ive gathered together some of my favourites here alongside examples of their work. Im finding new interesting people all the time so will probably put another list together soon. They are in no particular order. Enjoy.

1. ANDY ENGLISH - @andyenglish

Andy English is a Wood Engraver & Illustrator.
His beautifully haunting and technically wonderful work evokes deep emotions and a sense of place.

2 . CRICKET PRESS  @cricketpress

Cricket press live in a captivating imaginary world  - Magical ambience and colours.
They also print incredible stationery, gig posters and a host of other items.

3. ANNIE BISSETT - @anniebissett  

Annie Bissett creates work using the traditional Japanese Woodblock technique Moku Hanga, utilising multiple blocks and water based inks. Her work is an intriguing mix of East and West featuring American history in many of her prints.

4. LYNNE ROEBUCK - @lynneroebuck

Lynne Roebuck uses Lino Relief techniques to dramatically evoke the sea and heather moorland around Yorkshire.

5 STRAWBERRYLUNA @strawberryluna

StrawberryLuna designs and prints Posters, Prints and a range of other things often with a fab 50's 60's feel to them. Uplifting

6 DOLCE PRESS @dolcepress

Dolcepress create beautiful letterpress designs for business cards invites and other uses, all typified by crisp execution and gorgeous typography.  

7 HARDPRESSED @hardpressed

Hardpressed uses natural forms and images in her printmaking. Working in a wide variety of print methods, her work has a haunting atmosphere. 

8 HUYCKD @huyckd

David Huyck's Letterpress Cloudy Collection is just downright fabulous.

9 GIGART @gigart

GIGART creates limited edition silk screened posters, art prints, album artwork, and illustrations, often with a delicious Horror feel.

10 Seattle Show Poster @SeaShowPosters

Seattle showposters screenprint art prints as well as gig posters and a great variety of really well designed stuff
